Peppermint
Not only used for its fresh flavour, peppermint assists to cool and calm the gastrointestinal and nervous systems. May help to relieve achey or crampy tummies, nausea, and indigestion.
Lemon Balm
Traditionally used topically to treat wounds and internally to improve mood and promote clarity of thought. Lemon balm is a master soother of overactivity in both the mind and belly.
Licorice
Soothes, coats, and protects the digestive system. Traditionally used over periods of prolonged stress to tone and nourish the adrenals.
Lemon Grass
As an antispasmodic, lemongrass helps to relax the muscles in the gut, aiding digestion. It's antioxidant properties help promote a healthy internal gut environment, whilst other constituents help support healthy metabolism and blood sugar balance.
Chamomile
Relaxing and subtly sedating, chamomile is great for busy brains and bellies. Known for relieving digestive discomfort associated with stress and anxiety.
Ginger
With its warming properties, ginger can help reduce bloating and nausea, and soothe an upset stomach. Also known to assist the actions of other herbs when included in a blend.
Aniseed
With digestive and carminative properties, aniseed may help to relieve flatulence and cramping, and promote proper digestion.
Blue Cornflower
Spot the vibrant blue in our blends, this is beautiful blue cornflower. As a gentle bitter tonic with anti-inflammatory properties, blue cornflower can help to stimulate and improve digestion.
